Week 4: Victorian Biography

Who is this famous Victorian? What did he do? What is he remembered for?
This week we will be continuing to research information on famous Victorians in order to write a biography.
Please remember your PE kit and trainers for both Wednesday and Friday this week. There will also be a football match against John Clare after school on Wednesday.

On the picture there is a famous engineer named Isambard Kigdom Brunel. He invented and designed Bridges, tunnels and ships.He is remembered for starting the London underground and inventing the Great Wester Railways.

The Victoria and Albert Museum is a Victorian building.It was built between 1836-1854. I think...

It is Isambard Kigdom Brunel and he was a famos egoner and he bult 7 bigis and the thems tunl. He also bult the blok tunel. That the sun was ment to shin throu it on the 9 of Aprel but he got his calculation wrong and the sun shins throught on the 6 of Aprel.

I have learnt that Isambard Kingdom Brunel was a famous Victorian engineer. He built a box tunnel, the Great Western Railway and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. He also made the part of the London Underground which goes under the River Thames. This picture on the blog shows him in front of the anchor chain of the SS Great Eastern.

Its Isambard Kingdom Brunel.He was a very famouse and rich engineer and desinge. He desinged tunnels, bridges, steam ships and railways. Brunel also desinged the first ever steam ship.

Isambard Kingdom Brunel actually did have three children:Isambard Brunel Junior, Henry Marc Brunel and Florence Mary Brunel!
