I think its the great western railway.They could be going to the Great Exhibition.Men were wearing top hats and ladies were wearing posh long frilly dresses and a busker was playing for money.They're relieved that trains had been invented so they could now get to places quicker.

I think it is the Paddington station. I can see two policemen arresting a person. They could be going to the Great Exhibition or they could be going to Bristol. They could be feling a bit worried because they might miss their train because it was so busy and was hard to get around with such alot of people.

This painting was created by a man named William Powell Frith. I think its in Paddington station because the roofs on the station in thee painting are still the same. The people might be feeling fustrated because there are so many other people and that they might not get to the train. It looks like mostly rich people as poor people couldn't afford to travel by train.
